My second trishutter card!

This is a quick post to display my new trishutter card. It is made specially for Anita's Sentiment in window challenge.I am again just in time, just a couple of hours before the challenge closes :)
So, here's my card-
I will put up some better pictures tomorrow with proper lights.
In this card, I have done a lot of cutting as I don't own any die cutting tools. The window is handcut after tracing with label die cuts which I had bought from Kavitha. The butterflies are stamped, embossed and then cut. The flourishes are also hand-drawn and cut.The flowers are handmade. The centers of the 2 big cards are made using glitter balls from pie lane. The outer window is sprinkled with pink glittler from pie lane..and the butterfly trails in center are heart sequences..again from pie lane.
I will update this post with detailed pictures. Till then..Happy Crafting :)

GDT for ICRC5!

Hello!
Last week has been very hectic with loads of work in office. And hence the delay in posting my latest card which I designed for ICRC5. My card for ICRC3 made it to top 3 and I was choosen as he guest DT :) and this is the second time that I won ICR.
The theme for ICRC5 is "Interpret the word RAIN and decorate the inside of the card or the envelope".
When Tejal informed me the theme, I thought of raining hearts. But didn't find a good digi with a couple so dropped the idea. Next I thought of raining butterflies, but last minute I got loads of work in office leaving me with just 4-5 hours to complete my "RAIN" task. So I decided to go for raining cupcakes/goodies. I had a DP which went well with the theme. I had also bought some cupcake borders from Kavitha. So had enough things to go well with the theme.
And here's my card-
It's raining goodies - coz it's ur b'day!

Inside of card
I was still in the doodling mood :) so doodled the gifts, cupcakes and ballons and colored them with staedler water color pencils. Later I coatedd them and the digital cupcake with "Glue n Gloass". Honestly, I am not so happy with this card and I think I could have done better...but anyway, there's always a next time :).

Isn't this a challenging challenge? So what are you waiting for? Join the fun at ICR and get drenched in the RAINY challenge!

I got this lovely opportunity of being a guest DT on winning CraftyJC challenge 6.
The theme for this challenge is Digi or Doodle. You can either use something Digital OR if you can hand-draw or doodle on your entry. Interesting! Isn't it?

When Jaya first informed me about this month's theme, I was super excited. I had loads of ideas in my head. I love doodling and the notepad that I carry for meetings is full of doodles :)

In this card, everything is hand-drawn / doodled on white card stock.
closed card
No stamps, digi images or pattern papers are used.

I have used colour gel pens for drawing and staedtler water colour pencils for colouring.

Back after a break...

Hey All,
I am back along with my mojo after a gap of 5 long days. Long..because I was on bed rest after a small surgery..Anyways.. I am feeling much much better and completed a half left project today.
This card was initially meant for Anita's Challenge at Kavi's Anniversary celebrations. But missed the deadline due to my health issues. Hence I would be submitting this for Anita's Friendship Challenge. And I dedicate this card to Khushboo my newest blogger friend.
The flowers are handmade following Anita's tutorial. Thanks so much Anita for the wonderful tutorial! The flowers look like real ones and I am going to experiment more with it.
Here's a closer look at the flowers-

An year back, I had got some handmade papers from Singapore which were very thin and I thought were useless. But I was mistaken. These papers are just perfect for making these flowers. The pattern paper is from Paper Mania and butterfly is stamped on parchment paper with black ink, clear embossed and coloured on back side using water colours. (As I am at my mom's place and I didn't have my markers with me). The sentiment is MICIA stamp and the circle punch is from Fiskars.

I also wanted to flaunt my prize for winning Karuna's Just heat embossing challenge. Thank you so much girl! Super loved it :) .
Now that my mojo is back..I'll be soon experimenting with the embossing pen :)
