Back with Unconditional Love!

Hello Friends!! How have you been? I had been MIA for a long long time and missed you all so much!..Thanks to my hectic professional and personal life. My weekends are more busy than weekdays. But while I was missing, I did manage to make some cards and will be sharing the backlog one by one(Once I click the pics :)..Those who know me well...also know how lazy I am at clicking pics..).
Now without wasting more time...I will show you my latest card made specially for Kalindi's unconditional love challenge. There are still couple of hours left for the challenge to close...and thankfully I made it on time :D

The dolphins are hand drawn and coloured using steadler water colour pencils. The glitter on waves is from pie lane. Sorry for the poor picture..

Kalindi also has a candy for celebrating her blogaversary. So click on the picture to check it out -

And now here's the card I had made for Tejal's birthday. I had posted a sneak-peek..but went missing before uploading the complete one :)
Supplies: Parchment paper, Hero arts blossom art stamp, colour box frost white ink, MS glitter, clear embossing powder

I will be back soon with the back logs :)

Back after a break...

Hey All,
I am back along with my mojo after a gap of 5 long days. Long..because I was on bed rest after a small surgery..Anyways.. I am feeling much much better and completed a half left project today.
This card was initially meant for Anita's Challenge at Kavi's Anniversary celebrations. But missed the deadline due to my health issues. Hence I would be submitting this for Anita's Friendship Challenge. And I dedicate this card to Khushboo my newest blogger friend.
The flowers are handmade following Anita's tutorial. Thanks so much Anita for the wonderful tutorial! The flowers look like real ones and I am going to experiment more with it.
Here's a closer look at the flowers-

An year back, I had got some handmade papers from Singapore which were very thin and I thought were useless. But I was mistaken. These papers are just perfect for making these flowers. The pattern paper is from Paper Mania and butterfly is stamped on parchment paper with black ink, clear embossed and coloured on back side using water colours. (As I am at my mom's place and I didn't have my markers with me). The sentiment is MICIA stamp and the circle punch is from Fiskars.

I also wanted to flaunt my prize for winning Karuna's Just heat embossing challenge. Thank you so much girl! Super loved it :) .
Now that my mojo is back..I'll be soon experimenting with the embossing pen :)

You are Special!

I have a "You are special!" card today.
I started with this card for participating in Kavitha's inspirational challenge. But as I continued, I figured that the colors I am using are apt for the "Dhin Chak dhin" challenge at ICR. So this card will go to both the challenges.

I got inspiration from Tejal's this card. I simply love her cards especially the CAS ones.
Thank you Tejal for this wonderful inspiration!
And here's my card-

And here's a closer view at the "Special butterfly".

The black butterflies are stamped on parchment paper using black creativ ink and then clear embossed. The silver butterfly is stamped using creative glue pad and then embossed with silver embossing powder from Ranger. Yellow paper has tiny stars embossed and is form making memories.
Finally I am using things from my stash :). The dark blue pp with golden dot is from Paper Mania. Cardstock is local and flowers are quilled :)

2 more Birthday cards!

Hello!
I have 2 more Birthday cards today. I had made these long back for 2 of my friends & colleagues but didn't upload as I had not given it to them. I am still experimenting with pattern papers and stamping. Hoping that one day I would master it like my fellow bloggers :)

In the card below, I have used inkadinkado clear stamps which I had purchased from the crafting queen store. The butterfly is then clear embossed. I used the technique mentioned on Tejal's blog for colouring the butterfly.

 More cards to follow :)

Quilled Butterflies

These are my first two tries at quilling butterfly.
Just stick a magnet behind and they can make good fridge magnets.
