More Quilled cards

In this post, I have few more of my quilled cards.

75th Birthday Card

I made this card for my husband's aunt on her 75th Birthday. It took 5 days ( 1 hour per day).
I think it would have been better if I had left the "75" plain, but you see, I am addicted to quilling. So couldn't stop myself :)

Get Set for Quilling

This post is for those who wish to start quilling.

You would need following material to start with-
1) coloured paper strips. You can cut card sheets/ chart paper into 3mm/5mm/1cm width. I prefer buying a multicoloured quilling strips packet.

2) a pair of good scissors
3) fevicol(fast drying glue)
4) slotted needle. The slotted needle is optional. But I suggest you get it as it is easy to start with.

Along with the above material you would also need a lot of patience :)
So gather the above things and get set for quilling.

What is this blog about??

Earlier, I had thought of starting a blog for paper quilling. But then thought of including my other crafts too. Hence this blog would contain quilling stuff majorly and also a little bit of my other arty creations.

For those who don't know what paper quilling is, it is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. More information would follow in my subsequent posts.
