Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #10

Hi Friends!

This is my 10th and last card for the Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday Celebrations. It was so fun participating in all the challenges.

I made this card keeping Off the Page Challenge with Keren in mind. I thought of making a 3D card and then the idea of making a card in a box stuck me.

I had the perfect stamp set Welcome to family  for it. I started with stamping, coloring and fussy cutting all the lovely animals from this stamp set. Then I added some birds from the So Tweet stamp set and the Happiest of Holidays stamp set.

I drew a cloud border on a paper, fussy cut it and used it as a mask to create a blended skyline with distress inks. I added this skyline at the innermost level.

Then I created some green blended strips for grass and die cut them. I stuck these on the various levels.

I also added some more critters on the flaps.



 I filled the empty spaces with leaves and folliage.

I stuck the branches and the bird house on acetate strips to give a off the page effect.

Hi there!

I wanted to a make a simple fun card for the Bright colors challenge with Lydia challenge and made this card below-

 

The cute little giraffe is from the  Welcome to family stamp set. The sentiment is from The big, the bold and you cutaways. The stars are from the Scenery: Bigger Bang Confetti stamp set.
I colored the images using Zig markers. The grass is  made by blending distress inks.

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #8

 

Hello! I made this card specially for the  Stencil Challenge with Kelly.

 



I made the stenciled background using the Leaf Effect Creative Screenings stencil from Winnie and Walter and distress inks. The flowers and leaves are from In Blooms: Anna's flora stamp set. The sentiment is from In a word: Hello cutaway. I die cut the sentiment twice. I pasted white die cut on the distress ink blended die cut with an offset to create a 3D effect. Finally I added some sequins to fill up the empty spaces. I have an empty space phobia :D ..I can't see empty space on my cards.. No wonder I am not good at CAS cards!

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #7

Hello Friends!

Here is my 7th card for Winnie and Walter's 3rd birthday celebration challenges. I had aimed to make 10 cards - one each per challenge and I did succeed. Will post them one by one.

This card is one of my favorites. Before I stuck the astronaut giraffe. I didn't like it and wasn't sure if I would be posting it. The galaxy background had turned out great, however on converting it to shaker, the overall design looked just plain. I thought of adding stars from the Scenery: Bigger Bang Confetti stamp set. Just them an idea stuck me. I thought of converting the cute giraffe from Welcome to family stamp set into an astronaut. For this I stamped the biggest circle from the Bigger bang confetti stamp set into the giraffe and then colored and fussy it. I added a baker's twine for oxygen cable. The sentiment is from the Sending you stamp set.
Finally I am happy with the outcome :).

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #6

Hi Friends!

This is my 6th card to the Winnie and Walter's 3rd birthday celebrations. I made this card for the  Ink Smooshing with Heather H.

First I inked up an acetate sheet with distress inks and added water using a spritzer.

Then I smooshed my cardstock against it to get a lovely background.

The Flower stamp is from the In Bloom: Addie's Garden stamp set and the sentiment is from The big, the bold and you cutaways.

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #4

Hey Friends!
This is my 4th card for the Winnie and walter's 3rd birthday bash. I made this card for the  Ink Blending Challenge with Vanessa

I wanted to try the galaxy card since long and thought of creating one for this challenge.

I used the Wishing you stamp set from Winnie and walter.

I heat embossed the sentiments in white.

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #3

Hello Friends!
I am back with another card made for Winnie and Walter's 3rd birthday bash made for the challenge Pattern-Making Challenge with Mayuri.
For this challenge, I wanted to do something different and thought of using a sentiment stamp to create a pattern. So I gathered all the sentiments stamps related to birthday from the Winnie and Walter;s stamp set - The big, the bold and party and stamped them at random in shades of blue to create a sentiment pattern paper. I also added a tiny heart stamp from So Tweet stamp set.
Here's my card-

Once my pattern paper was ready, I added a fussy cut elephant from Welcome to the family stamp set and added a Red balloon from  So Tweet stamp set to add some bright color to the light background. I have used Zig markers to color and Canson Montval 300 GSM paper for the elephant and balloon.
Hope you liked this cute elephant as much as I did.

Winnie and Walter's 3rd Birthday bash - card #2

Hello there!
Here is my second card made for Winnie and Walter's 3rd birthday bash! I made this card keeping Mood Board Challenge with Heather P in mind.
The picture inspiration for the challenge is  -


I was inspired by the bright yellow/orange flowers and the black and white border. Here's my take on the challenge-



I have used the sunflowers from the In Bloom- Anna's flora stamp set. The sentiment is from limited edition Scenery: Bigger Bang Confetti stamp set had won during last year's birthday bash.
I added a black and white Washi tape to create borders.

I have used Zig markers to color and Canson Montval 300 GSM paper.
