Hey Friends!
This post is for a card that I made for the my favourite things superstar contest.
So here is My card-
I am happy with the card's outcome and I feel even though I won't win, I have already won against myself. I have stretched myself to create a colored background which I had never attempted.
I didn't want to clutter the card top further so stamped the sentiment on the inside.
Here's it -
I have MFT mermazing stamp set for all the images in this card except the castle which is from MFT unicorn.
I first stamped the images on the card in antique linen distress ink. Then I masked all images. I die cut the landscapes from the MFT surf and turf dienamics and used it for masking the mask images to create a layered sand effect. I then colored the layers removing the landscapes mask one by one with distress inks.
After distress inking was Adobe, I did the sunrays. I marked the position with white prismacolor pencil and went over it with wet brush. The water reacted with distress inks giving a beautiful sunrays effect.
Then I colored all the images with zig markers and added some shading using prismacolor pencils. Finally I added some interest with while gel pen.
Hope you liked the card as much as I did.
Love,
Piyu
