October Leading Lady - Take Four

Hello Friends!
Today is my last post here as the October Leading Lady at the Winnie and Walter's blog. So before proceeding to my projects, I wanted to thank you all for all the love and encouragement in the form of your comments on my previous posts here and on W&w blog.

For my final post, I wanted to have something different, something other than cards. And hence I selected the theme "Décor".
I will start with the cupcake toppers.

I stamped the pretty flowers from the In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms stamp set and used the coordinating In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms Cutaways.

I created various combinations of layered flowers and  added some glitter with wink of stella.

Finally I adhered a toothpick at the back and added a bow to complete the look.
And here are some more pics of the toppers.

My second project is also made using In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms stamp set. I made a rainbow flower wall hanging.
To make one 5 Dimensional flower, I stamped the flower 5 times in different colors. I then die cut it, scored and folded it in half. Finally adhered all 5 flowers together.

I made some tassels using silk thread and added it to the hanging along with some beads.

And now the last project. I made a birthday banner using 3 stamp sets - Ring in the Celebration, Party On with Evelin T Designs and Typecast: Cary.

The Ring in the Celebration and Typecast: Cary are two "must-have" stamp sets along with the coordinating cutaway - Ring in the Celebration Cutaways.  These are so versatile and one can make a lot of combinations with them.

I have also used In a Word: Birthday Tiles in my banner to add some interest.

And here's a close up of the cute critters from the Party On with Evelin T Designs stamp set.

With this, I sign off as the October Leading Lady. I hope you liked all my posts. Do leave some love on this post and W&W blog here. I would love to know which project you liked the most or inspired you. I have  a 30$ Gift card for a lucky commenter.
Winner will be announced on my blog on 4th Nov.
Love,
Piyu

October Leading Lady - Take three

Hello friends!
Welcome to my third post as a Leading lady for October.

Do checkout my first post and second post incase you missed seeing it. At the Winnie and Walter's blog.
Today I am sharing 3 cards made using In Bloom: Carolina's Florals with Angelica Suarez stamp set and masking technique. I love "Floral" stamps and this stamp set is so versatile. Not just the flowers and leaves but the sentiments too are a must have.
So here is my first card-

I started by stamping the sentiments at the center of  watercolor cardstock.

Then I stamped the flowers and leaves. I used masking to stamp the images as I wanted them to overlap. I  then colored them using Zig markers.

Then I die cut the card panel using largest scalloped rectangle from the Essentials: Audrey Cutaways . I adhered it on a black colored card panel to give a thin black border and then finally adhered it to white cardstock.

For my second card, I did a lot of masking and stamping again with the same flowers and leaves.

I colored these with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut the border and adhered a black cardstock strip at the back to make the images pop.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Happy Birthday to You stamp set and die cut it with coordinating Happy Birthday to You cutaways.

For y third card, I masked the center with a rectangle and stamped the flowers and leaves around it.
I colored the images with copic markers.
I added the sentiment from the Wish Big with Evelin T Designs stamp set.
Finally I added a border to the center rectangle with black gel pen.
I hope you liked these cards using masking technique.  I am overwhelmed with all the love received on my previous posts. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Do leave me a comment on this post for a chance to win 30$ Gift card.

I will announce the winner on my blog on 4th Nov.

Have a fantastic week ahead.

October Leading Lady: Take Two

Hey Friends!
I am back here with my 2nd post for October as a leading lady @ Winnie and Walter's. Thank you so much for your kind comments on my post last week. Incase you missed seeing it, you can visit it here on W&W blog.

Today I am sharing a couple of cards using my favorite coloring technique. i.e the no line coloring.
My first card is made with my all time favorite stamp set In Bloom: Anna's flora. This stamp set is closed ro my heart for this is the first W&W stamp I ever purchased.

I stamped the sunflowers and leaves in Antique linen distress ink on watercolor paper. While stamping, I used masking technique to get the flowers and leaves overlapped. Then I colored the images with  Zig markers and added details using prisma colored pencils.
For the sentiment, I cut the word celebrate using In a word: Celebrate cutaway - once in black and once in white card stock. I adhered the white celebrate on black with an offset to give a 3-D effect. Then I fussy cut one side of flowers and leaves and adhered it to White card stock with a foam tape. This gave a pop up effect.

Finally I added the sentiment, Washi tape and some dew drops.

Now moving on to my second card. I have used the Wish Big with Evelin T Designs stamp set.

First, I stamped the cupcake and cherries in Sugar spun distress ink and colored them with Prisma colored pencils.

I stamped the sentiment, again from the same stamp set, at the bottom of the cupcake. Then I cut the largest scalloped rectangle from the Essentials: Audrey Cutaways  and adhered the cupcake with sentiment on it.

I distressed the edges of a cardstock using cracked pistachio distress oxide ink and finally mounted the scalloped rectangle on it.

Hope you loved these cards as much as I loved creating them. I would love to hear back from you. Do leave me a comment on this post.

Gift card.
I will announce the winner on my blog on 4th Nov.

Have a fantastic week ahead.

Piyu

October Leading Lady - Take One

Hello Friends,
I have an exciting news today. I am going to be the Leading lady at Winnie and Walter for the month of October. And I am so so thankful to Shay for giving me this opportunity.

It all started with Winnie and Walter's second birthday bash.  I was on a long crafting break and coming back into the world of crafting after maternity and I happened to buy  the lovely W&W stamp set - In Bloom: Addie's Garden. I not just ended up making 7 projects with it for the challenges but also winning a 75$ voucher. Since then I have become a huge fan of W&W products and challenges.

I love using various techniques in my cards and today I am sharing 3 cards with you made using same stamp set (In a word:Happy) but different stamping techniques.
Here is my first card - (Simple Stamping)

For this card, I stamped the tiny flowers and leaves from the In the word: Happy stamp set onto white card stock in grey ink. Then I added the details on the flower with white and red gel pen.

I created the 3D happy sentiment by stamping the word Happy in gray ink first. Then using In a word: happy coordinating cutaways, I cut 2 "happy", one in red and another in black and adhered it together with an offset.

The black circle and the surrounding inlaid dotted ring is cut using the Big Round Balloon cutaways.

Now my second card - (Shadow stamping)

For this card, I stamped the tiny flowers and leaves from the In the word: Happy stamp set onto light grey card stock in white pigment ink. Then I again stamped the same images in dark grey ink with an offset. This created a shadow and light effect. Then I added details with a white gel pen. The happy sentiment is created with using In a word: happy coordinating cutaways.

The circle in the center is cut using  the Big Round Balloon cutaways where I semi cut the balloon and adhered the Birthday sentiment stripe on it.

My third card - (Black Magic)

For this cards I stamped the tiny flowers and leaves from the In the word: Happy stamp set ontoblack card stock in white pigment ink. I added the shading to the flowers and leaves using prisma colored pencils. Then finally I added a bit of interest using golden gel pen.
The happy sentiment is from In the word: Happy stamp set. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold and then cut it using In a word: happy coordinating cutaways

And here are all 3 of my cards together-

I hope you liked these cards and I have inspired you to try out these techniques.

Shay has generously donated a $30 gift card for me to give away on my blog.  For a chance to win, just leave a comment on this post. I will be posting for the remaining 3 Saturdays of October and this will give you total 4 chances to win. I will announce the winner on my blog on 4th Nov.

Have a fantastic week ahead.
Love,
Piyu
