ICR “RE-CREATIONAL” BLOG HOP!

ICR turns a YEAR OLDER tomorrow…..  
Yes..It's our Indian Craft Room's first birthday tomorrow and this calls for a grand celebration.
We are having considerably a BIG BLOG HOP termed as “Re-Creational” Blog Hop! And this is to celebrate all our GUEST DESIGNERS at Indian Craft Room for the year 2011…. YAY!
We are RE-CREATING the MAGIC that paved our way to being the Guest Designers for the respective challenges on ICR for the year 2011….

My "You are special" card made it to top 3 in ICRC3 and I was selected as the Guest DT. The theme of ICRC3 was - Photo insipration + Handmade emblishment. The inspiration photo was "Dhin chak" with lots of blight colours.  Here's it -

And here's my Re-take on it -





The colors are inspired from the lady's and the gentleman's dress in the inspirational photo. The roses are handmade and I have used black magic technique.

Hey congrats on being a GD for ICR. it must be such a proud and nice feeling to be a GD :) Kudos to you!
And yeah, the card is lovely. Though i am a novice to this black magic technqiue, overall effect on your card is superb! would love to learn from you.

Nice card Priya !!! What is balck magic??? am just guessing... an old school technique where we colour with crayons and paint with balck on top of it???
