Finally I overcame my laziness and decided to blog. There have been so many projects not just not blogged but also not clicked. So I need to clear up lot of backlogs before I resume my current project.
In this post I am sharing 2 cards. Both having a dominant brown colour.

Hello! A quick post to show 2 cards that I made for the pie lane challenge 2. As my this card made it to top 3 in pie lane challenge 1, I was selected as a guest DT.
So here are they -

Supplies : CS - Fabriano, PP - Papner mania,DCWV stack 7, Punches - Jeff, Sentiment - TPC Sentiments, Dies- Sizzix Decorative flourishes,  Spellbinders Classic Scallop Circle and peals and buttons from stash.

CS - Fariano (white,black), locally bought (Red), pp - DCWV stack 7, emblishments - butterflies,button from pielane, pixie dust from pielane, flower - Handmande, embossing folder - Cuttlebug swiss dots, Punch - MS Ribbon loop, Distress ink - Fired brick, Dies -  Sizzix Decorative flourishes, Pearls and ribbon from stash, Sentiment - TPC Sentiments

 I regretted not having the pie lane swrils. But planning to get them soon.

Here's Lucy's day 3 sketch -

For this card, I tried giving a vintage effect.

Not sure if I succeeded in giving a vintage effect, but I surely enjoyed making this card.

A quick card!

Posting a quick card that I made last night. I wanted to submit it to ET's ribbon flower challenge but missed the deadline :(
But then I am glad that I got to learn something new :).

And here goes the Supplies list-
Martha Stewart garden trellis punch, Ribbon and CS - local, dark pink pp is from best occasions scrapbook kit, flourishes from Sizzlits Decorative Flourishes Set , Sentiment is cut from Provocraft Curls and Swirls alphabet set.

I am on a roll this weekend..and to add to it the issues with my rotary trimmer are sorted. Since few days I was a little upset with the trimmer not cutting properly. I thought that the blade had worn off and I was feeling totally handicapped. Then I read Tejal's post on Paper Trimmers and found "Again, the track in which the blade runs, might need replacing once a year …again depending on your usage"
And it struck me to check the track and found that it was the culprit. I removed it and flipped it over and now the trimmer is cutting perfectly. Thanks so much Tejal!

My First...

Posting a card that I made few days back. I had not posted it earlier as it was yet to reach the recipient.
It's an Easel card -

This is my first card using cuttlebug, Penny black stamp and distress ink. I wanted to add some more punched flower emblishments, but as I sending the card with post, I was not sure if it would reach properly. Please let me know if you know any tips for posting such cards.

Bugged!

Finally overcame my laziness and managed to take pictures of the cards I made since last 2 weeks. Here's one of them. Last week I was hit with the Cuttlebug fever. And you can see that in the card below.

The icream cone and scoops are hand drawn and cut.
I am submitting it  to ICR challenge 9 - CELEBRATIONS+ NO RUBBER/DIGI STAMPING EXCEPT FOR SENTIMENT!!! Yes my second entry :) and hopefully more to come as the deadline of the challenge has been extended.

This week I am experimenting with my distress inks. So next post would be full of them :)

It's time to Celebrate!

A quick post to display my experiments with my latest buys.

My mojo is super high and my craft room a super mess :D. So here's a card that I made last night -

I used the Coredinations white core paper - Embossed using cuttlebug(d'vine swirls folder) and then sanded, Martha Stewart butterfly punch with sparkles (glitter glue). The green glitter balls are from Pie Lane The sentiment (MICA stamps) is stamped using distress ink on a scallop cut using the spellbinder die. The edges are distressed too. I took inspiration for the scallop with glitter balls from Khushboo's card. She has used red gem stones. I hope you don't mind it Khushboo :)
